A little something about me (Peter Allerton)...
Hello there,
Something about me huh??
I suppose I've finally reached a stage where I can 'settle down' and write a few stories. Am lucky enough to have lived a surpringly interesting life, having seen and done anything I'd ever dreamed of on this incredible planet - so now sitting at the window typing away while gazing at nature, that's probably not a bad way to spend some time.

I like to write stories for all ages - from children even through to adults who haven't lost their childish side - I often work with younger people and hang out with older ones who still act young so it's only natural really...
Having worked in Education for 20+yrs (am also happy to do school visits) helping encourage children to not only improve their writing but enjoy the process too, it is a nice hobby to try to think up stories for them to enjoy reading. I absolutely love working with kids, their honesty and energy is great to be around and it's a real privilege to be able to assist with their confidence and learning skills.
Other than writing, I enjoy travelling to weird places around the world, practising Mixed Martial Arts (injuries permitting!), reading up on science and history and love being amongst nature. Learning and experiencing new things is still a great reason to live... I also still have a keen interest in the goings on of my hometown of Liverpool:

Anyway, I do hope you enjoy whatever stories I manage to publish - along with the occasional blog post here - whenever I find the time to write and you the time to read...
